Our mission. . . come alongside a local church to help construct a building so the gospel of Jesus Christ can be shared in their community.
We are: ... a group of volunteers from all over the United States who gather together to become God’s “hands and feet” for a week in June to do as a team what no one person could do along. We help a local church build a building, and during that time we build relationships and share the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Our team is composed of some professional builders - but mainly we are businessmen, teachers, nurses, engineers, as well as many others. Our family friendly group encourages builders of all ages to participate, whether it be putting up drywall, cooking a meal, or handing out frozen grapes. All jobs are important and are necessary. Many of the team (usually close to 90 strong) is from Elder’s Baptist Church in Sykesville, MD, but in 2025 our group had members from 10 different states, with all ages participating.
